In celebration of the opening of the “Between Science and Art: Early Photography in the Middle East” exhibition at the Heritage Library, Qatar National Library is happy to take you on a journey through the early history of photography in the Middle East.

This special discussion will feature two speakers who are specialists in historical photographic archives:

Giulia Martini: Archivist in charge of the photographic collection at Qatar National Library and curator of the exhibition “Between Science and Art: Early Photography in the Middle East”,

Mathilde FalguiereHead of photographic collections in “Architecture and Heritage Library” (Médiathèque de l’architecture et du patrimoine), Paris – Fort de Saint-Cyr.

ModeratorAlizée Alexandre, Cultural Manager at the French Embassy.
