Over the last few decades, libraries have been exploring various ways to assess and demonstrate their value and contribution to users and societies at large. Return on Investment is a commonly used method to demonstrate value - and a new publication by IFLA offers an overview of ROI studies in varous library sectors over the last 10 years.
In this video we discussed the IFLA Strategy with Nick Poole, the CEO of CILIP – the Library and Information Association, in the United Kingdom.
IFLA's survey of its Members and volunteers, seeking views on the first draft proposals on our new governance structure has closed, with over 700 responses, as well as suggestions via e-mail. Your contributions will help the Governing Board improve the plans further, before a series of open virtual round tables in August.
