As a Key Initiative in IFLA's Capacity Building Strategic Direction, the International Advocacy Programme aims to give the library sector the capacity to create and promote a favourable policy framework for valued library services to the community, set and implement regional and national action agendas, and build advocacy skills.
This event is a follow up to our July 2015 meeting.
Meeting objectives
- To understand priority actions based on the endorsed African Advocacy Agenda;
- To agree on coordination across the continent;
- Prioritisation of short-term actions, actions in the next 2+ years.
