The Hague, Netherlands, 18 July 2024 – As part of our ongoing efforts to advance leadership in the library and information sector, we invite experienced consultants to submit proposals for an in-depth study of leadership programmes relevant for library and information workers around the world. Proposals are due by 1 August 2024. This initiative is made possible with the support of Stichting IFLA Global Libraries.

The research will explore various leaders’ programmes across different sectors to analyse their objectives, methods, outcomes, and impact data. The resulting open access report will support library associations and other organisations globally in developing effective leadership programmes. It will also provide a data foundation for IFLA to plan its future leadership programmes.

This project is a critical step in nurturing the next generation of leaders in the library and information sector, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate and lead in an ever evolving landscape.

For more information and to submit proposals, please download the call for proposals. The deadline for submissions is 1 August 2024 at 17:00 CEST.
